Rich Brothers is a junk removal and moving company based in Clinton, MD. We clear houses, garages, basements, offices and back gardens across Maryland, Washington DC & Northern Virginia — and where a job needs both a clear-out and a move, we do both in the same visit rather than sending you to two companies.

Our own summary of it is short: “We clear the mess so you can move forward with ease.” Most of our work arrives at a moment of change — a move, a downsize, a house being emptied after a death — and the job is as much about handling that carefully as it is about filling a truck.

Why family-run matters here

Most of the recognisable names in DMV junk removal are franchises or dispatchers. You call a national number, and the work is passed to whoever is available. That model is fine for moving boxes around a warehouse. It is a poor fit for a job that involves someone's home, often at a difficult moment.

We are small on purpose. It means we can price honestly, tell you when the free county collection would serve you better, and take the time an estate cleanout actually needs.

How we work

Quoted before we travel. Send a photo, get a figure. Confirmed on site before anything is lifted.
Donation and recycling first. Usable furniture to donation partners, metal to a recycler, green waste composted.
Nothing valuable gets binned. Documents, photographs and jewellery are set aside for you. Fixed rule.
We will talk you out of it. If the county collection is the better answer, we say so.
Wrapped and protected. Customers repeatedly mention the care taken with furniture, floors and walls.
We know the county lines. Loads sorted by destination jurisdiction, not treated as one region.

Paperwork for buildings and HOAs

Some apartment buildings, condo boards and HOAs ask for documentation from a contractor before letting them work on site. If yours does, tell us when you book and we will sort out what they need in advance, so nobody is held up at the door on the day.
